In some cases during installation of TerrSet or LCM for ArcGIS Windows will return an error on loading drivers, for example "exception errors" or failing to register a driver or dll.
The following steps may help to resolve these errors associated with application drivers failing to register during installation and opening of the applications:
- Uninstall the software, TerrSet or LCM for ArcGIS.
- Make sure your Windows OS is up-to-date.
- Perform a registry clean with a registry utility of your choice.
- Temporarily disable any anti-virus software. You can enable the anti-virus software once the installation is complete.
- Reinstall the software.
