I input data from my RUSLE run into the Sedimentation tool. I ended up converting a shapefile of a reservoir in ESRI ArcGIS to a TIFF, then to a .RST in IDRISI to used it as a "field". I did this to prevent the background values from being included in the data analysis.However, once I saw the data from the sedimentation run I noticed the number of acres was double what it should actually be according to the information I have. How do I fix this? I thought that by specifying the reservoir as a field I could eliminate the background from being included in the analysis.
I've also run the RUSLE program without using the raster of the reservoir shape file outline as a field. I received no data regarding the patches and fields when running the sedimentation program.
I've also completed the tutorial exercise. I learned that RUSLE is a very time intensive module depending on the file size, but not too much else regarding my issues. I will review the literature from the help sections, but does anyone have experience using these two programs that I can contact about my project?
