I am a royal IDRISI user and trying to run GEOMOD lately, but it doesn't seem to work properly for some reason. Are there any known errors and/or bugs when the tool is used with Selva and Windows 7? I'd really appreciate your help.

Hmm... Let me articulate what is about. First and foremost, GEOMOD Module cannot read the number of pixels of the inputted land-cover map correctly. Hence, "State 2 BGN" field of "Ending Time Quantities" tab contains a value that has decimal point, which doesn't make any sense... Since I could revise the value manually, so I ran the module anyway. However, the produced suitability map seems to have no variation at all, and the associated hard prediction seems to allocate the pixels evenly over space, if not randomly. I used to use GEOMOD with both Andes and Taiga versions, and I had no issues back then. I'd really really appreciate anyone's input here!

I'm a begginer in GEOMOD, but I have experience about GIS. My native language is spanish, but I expect that you can understand me (sorry if I fail in my english). When I ran geomod for first time I had the same problem (I have run in Andes, Taiga and Selva version), but I solved it when I gave the values "1" at the target cover,"2" at the rest of the covers, and "0" at the background. When I use this codification the module read correctly (the program cannot read correctly when you assign "0" at the non target covers). However, I had other problem, the program did cannot read the parameter file and gave me this error message "unable read the program file. please provide a correct input file ". I edited the parameters file and is apparently right, in fact, I compared it with other which I get from internet. Somebody have any idea. Thanks in advance
