Failed to import *.img

Hi guys,

 

This is strange. I never encountered this problem before. Whenever I tried to import *.img files, the error message is

ERROR IN IMAGE LAYER: MINIMUM VALUE EXCEEDS MAXIMUM VALUE.

The *.img files was created in ArcGIS10.

1656 pixels x 1020 rows.

Cellsize 0.04 x 004.

Pixel Type : Floating point

Pixel depth : 32 bit

NoData Value -327.67

Anybody willing to throw some light? I got thousands of images that need to be imported to Idrisi.

  Guys,

  Another option to get the *.img into Idrisi is through conversion in ArcMap.

  1. Raster to ASCII conversion (in ArcMap).

  2. Then Import/Software Specific Format/ESRI Format/ArcRaster

  This will add another step in my processing, so I would really appreciate if somebody could help me on getting *.img to be import direclty without conversion to ASCII.
