G'day everyone:
I want to include the layer "soil" to the LCM module for the creation of transition potential maps. This layer is, of course, a categorical variable. I want to transform it to a continuos one by using the evidence likelihood option. However, I'm not sure about what to put on the "transition/land cover layer name" because there is no layer that resembles or has anything to do with my soil layer.
I tried once to put land cover of my earlier date, but when i did that, it only transformed the soil layer to a strange layer with the same categories as my land use layer.
I guess my question is, how can i transform a soil layer of 20 categories to a continuos variable using evidence likelihood? do you recommend another method more effective for this case?
