I have been trying the past couple of days to use Land Change Modeler on the

IDRISI Selva edition and each time I load my images, in to the LCM project

parameters, I get back this error message " Earlier Land cover image Not found".

I cannot seem to go pass this beginning point and I think all my images are in the right

format and meet the image requirements.

I also tried to use the same

modeler in the Andes edition, and this time the error message was "Images are

missing Legends" What might be the problem, or what am I doing wrong? I will be

very glad to get some help.

  Hi Siewe,

  You are receiving this error message because you have not set up your Working and/or Resource Folders in the Project tab of IDRISI Explorer.  Generally, we recommend that you specify an empty folder as your Working Folder, which is where all of the files you create will be stored, and specify the folder where all of your data (landcover images, driver variables, etc) is located as your Resource Folder.  You can add as many Resource Folders as needed.  In Selva, if you use the browse option to select a landcover image that is not in one of your specified folders, you will receive the error message that the image cannot be found.

  If your landcover images do not already have the same legend and categories, the Harmonize tab will automatically open to rectify this.
