.rst and .rgf creation

2 questions:

1. I've 880 -tif files which I need to convert to .rst. Is there the possibility to make it faster than simply by choosing each and every single file and converting it manually?

2. I converted 22 of my .tif-files to .rst. Now I want to group them as a .rgf. Each .rst has 44rows and columns (double checked it) and they lie perfectly over each other. However, when I want to create a .rgf I get the message 'The Raster Image 'name2.rst' does not have the same rows/cols as earlier images.' And I get the message for every file except the first. Where's the problem and how can I solve it?

  Marie,

  You can use the Macro Command script to run a batch. See the help section for the GeoTiff module on the macro structure. As for the other error, check each of your files to make sure they have the same spatial reference.

  I have exactly a very similar problem. When I import tiff file individually I can create raster group, however when I run a Geotiff Macro Command, it doesn't work anymore. I posted a line from macro file I used:

   

  geotiff x 1*C:\DATA_THESIS\new data\MOD13Q1.MRTWEB.A2002161.005.250m_16_days_NDVI.tif*C:\DATA_THESIS\new data\MOD13Q1.A2002001.rst

  I have a very similar problem. However, I cannot make raster group after I run macro command and it works when I do it individually. 

   

  I would really like some advice, please.

  IIona,

  Can you do a test? First, create a test macro for just one file, remove the decimal in the the output name. See if this runs. If not, try removing the decimal in the input name, i.e., rename the input file without decimals. See if either of these run.
