I have set up GDALIDRISI per the instructions and am trying to use it to import Worldview2 data without success yet, and maybe someone can help me. When I have run GDALinfo on my file, it returns the following data. What I want to open up is the .TIL file, and I would like the single band in this file. If you look towards the bottom of these results, it seems to indicate that the type of the data in the file are UINT16 data (unsigned 16-bit data). So when I want to import this file, I use the program GDAL_translate, point to the input file, give it an output location and filename. Right at that point there is a menu to open that says Save as Type, but the menu is blank. I edit my output file to be .RST. The next entry for GDAL_translate is "Output format" and three options are given, the second option refer to a variety of data types (), and none of them are UINT16, in any case, I've tried each and nothing works. The data format menu is next, and I select UINT16. In any case, no matter what I select, it simply ends in all of one second after I enter Run and the module does nothing.Has anyone had any positive experience with this and can share their experience please? I have brought in these data with other software successfully, but I would like to bring them into IDRISI. Please help. Thanks. Peter
