We imported .tif files in Idrisi using the menu options: FILE-> IMPORT -> DESKTOP PUBLISHING FORMAT -> GEOTIFF/TIFF. When the file processing (importation) finished we realized that our files have been interpreted as unsigned integers.
Our .tif files are 19 Bioclim variables downloaded from worldClim database for future conditions (“downscaled global climate model (GCM) data from CMIP5 IPPC Fifth Assessment) at 30 arc seconds resolution, HadGEM2-ES model (GCM), at 2050 and 2070 year under so-called rcp45, rcp60, rcp85 scenarios. This totalized approximately 120 files.
We need to recover the negative original values and NO DATA values (which are not -9999 neither). At this moment we have these files in .rst, .gri and .ascii format. Could you help us to solve this problem? Is there any “simple” way to get these original values without return to “start point”?
