ETRS89/LAEA ref file

Hi There, 

I have a raster file which is in ETRS89/LAEA and I want to convert it to LATLONG in Terrset. 

I have an rdc file with the following content

I tried to make a .ref file out of it, as it is asked from the software

but it does not work. I think the problem stands to delta WGS84. If anyone has any idea what these three parameters are, kindly let me know.

  Ioannis,

  The main issue is that the Projection parameter is not specified correctly as stated in our Help system for the module PROJECT. The projection name must be one of those that we support. In this case, I believe the Projection name should be changed to: Lambert Oblique Azimuthal Equal Area. I think that the ETRS89 is an oblique aspect.

  Hi James,

  Thanks for this. I tried your suggestion. I think it is not the only issue in the file since I do get a conversion of the ref system, but in Google earth I get Europe somewhere between India and  Middle East....

  Ioannis,

  This is a common issue. Now that you can project, you will need to review all the parameters carefully for your study area. If you are off by one digit, for example, this can result in what you are seeing. See if you can find projection parameters used from other analyses, then verify your parameters against those.

  Solved....I also had an error in origin long and lat. The correct file looks like:
