I have riverPoly.shp file. when i try to convert it in idrisi.vct. it's take too longer times and the task not completed. it's not happening at the time of line.shp conversion. Although, I have same coordinate system. Thanks in advance.

Clark Labs Dear Suman,
Depending on the complexity of your Shapefile, it may take a little longer to convert it to an IDRISI vector file.
An alternative is to generalize your polygon file before importing.
