CCA interpretation of results

Hi,

I'm trying to use S-Mode CCA between ndvi (dependent) and rainfall (independent) time series, but have difficulties in interpreting the results.

I assume the heterogeneous correlation between x variate1 (rain) and y variables (ndvi)  (filename: xxx_cca_s-mode_x-y_hetercor_1.rst) provide the correlation between the rain and ndvi time series at pixel level.  Is that correct?

Should I use ' Y variance explained ' graph to select the which x variate heterogeneous correlation to be used?

Any help on this is much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Kiran
