I am having a hard time finding a clear and simple tutorial to convert at-satellite brightness temperatures to land surface temperature of landsat 5 imagery. I have very basic knowledge of the software (I am completing a project for a remote sensing class) so many of the algorithms and explanations online have been confusing.
Can anyone tell me how to make this conversion? I have been trying to do a transformation using the THERMAL function but I do not know what to include as the emissivity band? If anyone can provide an answer to this or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!
