I would like to determine the suitability of 3 sites for a certain activity using IDRISI, multi criteria decision analysis. Can I use weights for different classes in each criteria to do the comparison without involving maps?

I would like to determine the suitability of 3 sites for a certain activity using IDRISI, multi criteria decision analysis. Can I use weights for different classes in each criteria to do the comparison without involving maps? If yes, after calculating the weights, how can I do the the comparison?

  Not sure I understand the question, without involving maps?...You can create individual suitability for each layer with image calculator, and then add or average out all individual layers in the end for final suitability.
