I have 3 LU/LC maps that were created in Envi. But i want to continue to my work on idrisi selva for land change modelling purpose. Is that technically possible?

You will need to import the Envi layers using the Enviidrisi import utility. Check that the land cover categories came over correctly. If not, you can edit these categories in Metadata. Then all should work fine in LCM.
